Whitchurch Walkers were formed in 1976 by a group of local people interested in walking and the protection of local footpaths. The group also organise the annual walking festival and are the steering group for the town on the Walkers are Welcome network, with the aim of attracting tourism into Whitchurch.
The group has over 140 members and holds one half day Saturday afternoon walk and one all day Sunday walk per month throughout the year. The Saturday walks are normally between 4 and 6 miles and the Sunday walks between 8 to 11 miles. These walks are open to all and other walks are available for members of the club.
Please check our website for full details, any late changes and to register for the walks
