Arts Alive presents ‘PAULUS’ LOOKING FOR ME FRIEND:THE MUSIC OF VICTORIA WOOD

on Saturday November 20th at 7.30pm at The Talbot Theatre, Whitchurch Leisure Centre (SJT School)

Cabaret performer and TV personality Paulus (BBC’s All Together Now) enters his 30th year in entertainment with a loving tribute to his idol – the late, great comic genius and national treasure Victoria Wood. Joined on stage by sought-after musical director and old friend Michael Roulston (Fascinating Aida), together the two prove what many have known for decades – that it takes two men to do the work of one woman – half as well!
Paulus will share 12 of Victoria’s best-loved songs through the decades including ‘It Would Never Have Worked’, Re-incarnation’ and of course the classic ‘Ballad of Barry and Freda (Let’s Do It).
Musical Theatre Review gives it four stars, describing Paulus as incredible and the warm, witty whistle-stop tour of Victoria’s songs gaining gales of laughter from the audience.
‘Impeccable comic timing’ – says Time Out.
Tickets at £12 adults, £6 Under 18’s and family £30 are available on www.artsalive.co.uk, Whitchurch lLisure Centre on 01948 660660 or on 07506724572.
