Caldecott Arts Festival

The Caldecott Arts Festival is helping bring some added Christmas cheer to Whitchurch. Prepared to welcome the Whitchurch Christmas lights switch-on , we created a Christmas window inspired by Victorian Christmases and Randolph Caldecott’s animal drawings at The Watergate Centre.

The window is a collaborative effort , many people helped to make it. So we want to say thank you to :

  • Beacon Church Whitchurch youth group for making the wonderful animals.
  • The local businesses who supported us, Refill Your Boots, Whitchurch Photography, Costcutter Whitchurch and Lily’s Beauty Salon.
  • Volunteers, Mikaela Cox, Ellen Edwin-Scott, Cllr John Martin, Jane Bebbington, Norma Raynes, Janet O’Brien
  • The brilliant gentlemen at Whitchurch Men in Sheds who gave their time to help create the window
  • The Friends of Caldecott Arts Festival who donated or made items in the window.

From the Caldecott Arts Festival Team, we wish everyone n Whitchurch a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year
